MISSION
On The Map Orienteering, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to enrich the lives of school-aged children and people of all ages through the sport of orienteering.
ORIENTEERING EVENTS
On The Map organizes community events, and works with schools, Scouting organizations, and businesses to plan orienteering outings for field trips, group outings, and team-building activities.
MAPPING AND "DIY" COURSE INSTALLATION
We help camps, schools, municipal parks, and other property owners map and install Do-It-Yourself orienteering programs for their their user communities.
On The Map has created DIY orienteering programs for clients including:
-Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR)
-Girl Scouts of Wisconsin, Badgerland Council
-Goodman Jewish Community Campus, Verona, WI
-Lincoln Elementary School, Madison, WI
Our founder, Susie Madden, is a mapmaker and a leader in the orienteering community. She has taught orienteering for schools, Scouts, and community recreation programs since 2009.
